Renovations

Existing homes and spaces transformed — structural alterations, extensions and full internal renovations.

Rethink, then rebuild

Your space, rethought and rebuilt.

Renovating means working with what's already there — the structure you keep is as important as the one you add. We open up floor plans, extend, and rebuild interiors with the same care we bring to a new home, and we make sure what stays is protected while we work.

The detail is where a renovation earns its keep: custom joinery, considered lighting, feature ceilings and finishes that make an older home feel deliberate rather than patched. Our trades are chosen for exactly that standard.

We plan the job around your life — staged scheduling, a tidy site and honest communication about what happens when — so the disruption is managed, not just endured.

The process

How your renovation runs.

Four stages, planned around the way you use the place — not the other way around.

Stage 1

Scope & protect

We agree exactly what stays and what goes, then protect the floors, fittings and rooms that aren't part of the job.

Stage 2

Strip-out & structure

Careful demolition, new openings and structural steel where the plan calls for it — the bones made good first.

Stage 3

Rebuild & rough-in

Framing, services, waterproofing and linings — the invisible work inspected before anything gets covered up.

Stage 4

Finish & reveal

Joinery, tiling, paint and fit-off, then a detailed clean — the moment the disruption pays for itself.

Details that matter

Renovating without
the horror stories.

Most renovation complaints aren't about the finish — they're about how the job was run.

Liveability

Living through the build

Staged scheduling, sealed-off work zones and a site left tidy every afternoon — so home still feels like home.

Continuity

Old meets new, cleanly

Existing details matched where they should be, contrasted where they shouldn't — never awkwardly patched.

Transparency

No surprises behind walls

If we uncover something unexpected, you hear about it the same day — with options and costs, before work continues.

Common questions

Renovations, answered.

Can we live in the house during the renovation?

Often, yes. We stage the work so essential rooms stay usable for as long as possible, seal off the work zones, and tell you ahead of time about the days that will be genuinely disruptive.

What happens if you find problems behind the walls?

You hear about it the same day — with photos, options and honest costings — and nothing proceeds until you've made the call. Older homes hold surprises; how they're handled is what matters.

Do you do structural changes?

Yes. Removing load-bearing walls, new openings and steel work are all done to an engineer's detail, with the temporary propping and inspections that keep the job safe and compliant.

Can you match the existing finishes?

Where it's the right call, yes — profiles, cornices and boards can usually be matched or reproduced. Where matching would look like a patch, we'll recommend a clean contrast instead and show you why.
